1. What is your name? Paula Zingelmann

2. Where are you from? Salado, Texas

3. How did you get introduced to the game of poker? My husband started playing first. I decided if I didn’t want to sit home by myself I would join him.

4. Tell us about an unusual or unique experience that you’ve had while playing poker. We go to WSOP every year so I have met or seen all the pros. It’s such an exciting time for us.

5. How would you describe your poker style/play? Any specific poker experience you are most proud of? What is your favorite poker game to play and why? I consider myself tight/aggressive. I am most proud of my recent experience at Choctaw WSOP circuit winning the seniors event. It was surreal! Senior events are my favorite. Old people are funny haha. My favorite game is Texas Holdem.

6. What were some of the unexpected hurdles that you have experienced in poker? How are you overcoming those? Getting thru the long dry spells! And trust me I have had them. I think all poker players have. Just taking a break helps me to overcome & regroup.

7. Who is the most difficult player that you have ever competed against?  How was that experience? I have competed with some of the best. The ladies I have played with in Austin Hotties group are amazing players. My game improved greatly after getting involved with this group, not to mention the life long friendships I have made.

9. What is your favorite hobby or passion outside of poker? My God & my family hands down. Everyone who ever sat at a poker table with me will tell testify to that.

10. What are your plans for poker in the future, if any at all?  I will continue to play & continue to try to win another ring (or bracelet).
