Leslie is a sales rep for a genetic testing company. She is originally from Las Vegas, but lives in Thousand Oaks, CA. She has always loved to play games, especially ones involving a strategic element. Leslie started playing poker about 16 years ago in a weekly Tuesday night tournament with friends. Once she played live in a casino, she was hooked. She began to study the game more closely and play more often.
Leslie played a WSOP Ladies circuit event at Caesars Las Vegas as her “first big tournament”. She chose that event because it was women only and she wouldn’t feel so intimidated. Remembering that feeling, Leslie wants to work to make sure other women don’t feel intimidated to get out there and play.
