What does it mean to serve on a Board of Directors?
The WPA Board of Directors is the governing body of our WPA Association. We’re a 501c3 all-volunteer nonprofit. WPA Members who sit on the board are responsible for overseeing the organization’s activities. Board members meet periodically to discuss and vote on the affairs of the organization. Board positions hold a three-year term and require approximately 10-20 hours of your time on a weekly basis.
We currently have three Board positions open to be filled immediately. If you are interested on serving on the WPA Board and are enthusiastic about women in poker, we would love to add you to the ballot.
